Well I guess it's true, time stands still for no one.  Another year as come and gone.  I thank the Father for the times past and look  forward to the year to come.

I was brought a might long way from three years ago and thank God for every step of this new journey in my life.  It would be however, nice to have some one to share it with, but what will be, will be.

I am grateful for the time past, one thing because I lost no one last year and didn't at the same time didn't lose my mind either. LOL.  My Grandmother, God bless her soul and old bones, celebrated her 99th birthday this past December.  I invited a television station to attend her birthday party.  Guess what!  They accepted.  Fox 45 did a little piece on her; that was my birthday present to her.

I got to see my grands before the year was out and that made me jump with glee.

I know what ever God has in store for me, that with him beside me I can't go wrong.

May the Lord continue to bless us all and may you have a prosperous New Year!

I really have enjoyed this holiday season.  Beside my being with my grands, I really enjoyed spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Each year I set them down and tell them the true meaning of Christmas.  This year they really had a lot of questions and a few answers to my question about what they learnt.

I was amazed.  They were listening and truly interested.  It made me feel even better.

You see, to me that is the real meaning of the holiday.  Sharing the holiday with family.  I pray yours was just has good.

Be blessed!

Greeting and Happy Holidays.  Now they say that, but I shall say, Merry Chrisitmas.  After all, Christ is the reason for this season.

My Christmas came two days early today.  I received a visit from the son, his children and his friend.  Their presence alone was a gift for me.  But seeing the joy in their faces made it even better.  Thank you Lord!

It's the little things that I am grateful for.  It's like the old adage, "Be careful what you pray for, you just might get it".  Well thanks to common sense, I pray for positive things.

During this time of year we find ourselves stressed out over the little things.  For example, I was stressed that I would not be able to complete my shopping list.  I only had $20.00 left in my budget and still had a few small things to take care of.  So what did I do?  I prayed.  I had God working overtime with the constant prayers I've been sending up.  But he hears all prayers.

The final outcome is, God is an awesome God.  I needed gift wrapping paper and someone donated not only wrapping paper, but bows too and left it available to anyone who needed it; I needed to get one more gift and there was someone where I live, selling wallets for, well lets just say at minimal cost.  I needed tissue paper and found some in a gift bag I had from a previous gift.  Tell me God doesn't answer prays and I tell my testimony.

Well, my house is clean from top to bottom, all the presents are wrapped and I'm done for the holiday.

Xmas comes early for me this year.  My son, his friend and my grandchildren will be here in the morning and that's my Christmas day.  Christmas is about the celebration of the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior, but it's also about giving and spending that precious time with the ones you love.

Thank you Father for once again allowing me to see another year celebrating the birth of your precious Son and the opportunity to spend time with the ones I love.

Now another prayer I know God will hear.  "Lord may everyone have a safe, blessed and joyous holiday.  May we not forget the reason for the season"

Be blessed!

When you think you have your day all planned, don't.  My mother used to say "You can make plans, but did you run it past God first?"

I cancelled my transportation for this evening last night. That caused me to catch public transportation. In doing that I took a new route to my destination.

My day was all mapped out.  Visit a friend in the morning, go to the clinic in the evening and finish some last minute shopping.  Well all that happened.  But God had other plans for me.  During my running around I ran out of oxygen, the chair powered down, again, and I had to adapt.
That in turn lead me to the place I needed to be, for someone.

You know how you have the feeling you want to go one way but something is gnawing at you to go the other way.  That's God speaking to you.  Follow your instincts.  I'm glad I listened.

Listening to the call was a blessing, because it allowed me to help someone who really needed it.  I was in the right place at the right time.

Coincidence, I don't think so.  God's plan, definitely.  Be blessed!
Yesterday was a very adventurous and learning day.  The adventure came to play when I, for the first time in a long time, took to walking.  You see normally I use a power chair to get around.  Rather it be at home or out of the home.  No I'm not stuck in it.  I just got lazy and used it constantly.  It, at the times, was more convenient to use it.  I started out saying I would use it only for school and making market, you know things that took a lot (for me anyway) of heavy lifting and carrying.

Well, I walked and I walked all day and all night long.  You have to understand that though, I'm not in it permanently but after yesterday, I cried for my chair.  Walking down the halls of where I lived felt like walking the green mile.  Walking around shopping at stores as large as Walmart (it wasn't Walmart though) really took a lot out of my body; notice I didn't say my feet, although they were killing me.

Now for the learning experience.  My sister, God bless her, gently told me a few things about myself that brought me to the reality of accepting them to be true.  As a child, I was always to one she would turn to for advise and humor (she still does, LOL), but now as adults, I turn to her for advise and wisdom (get that) and sometimes I become the humor.  She gently explain that I (ME!) take things that are meant to be loving the wrong way.  All I can say to that, after a few examples, is that she is right.  I felt as though I was being picked on and that wasn't the case at all.  Sometimes people show you they love you in ways they hope won't offend you, and that's with humor.

It's okay now.  Some I take with a grain of salt, but now I take it with a lot of sugar.  Thanks Sis!  The advise and lesson took a lot of drama out of my life that I was creating myself.

Today I shall relax and look forward to some eye opening events and adventures coming my way.

If God has a great sense of humor, then why shouldn't I?
Be blessed!
